The recent church bombings which brought such negative publicity is the culmination of a calculated attempt by morally bankrupt and ignorant politicians to shore up support from the Malay community.
Unfortunately in Malaysia, Islam has always been a political football to be kicked around unethically by unscrupulous and opportunistic leaders on both sides of the political divide to score points.
- Mahathir a liability for credible opposition
Malaysians 'mudah lupa' (forget easily) that is all I can say. It would be dangerous for the opposition to latch on to Dr Mahathir Mohamad purely because he opposes the government.
