I refer to the Malaysiakini report What makes Khalid tick?

I salute Khalid Samad and his outspoken views on the happenings of the Selangor state rule by Pakatan Rakyat. He dares to be different and he says it as it is.

I specifically admire the fact that he comes out to say that there should be no ‘Taliban-type’ rule, and this is and will be a fundamental problem for Pakatan even if they have a remote chance to win at the next general elections.

PAS has been having more colours than a chameleon lately and each passing day we see a new color.

PAS spiritual advisor Nik Aziz Nik Mat is one I probably won't see in my transition to the next world, as he will be in Heaven and according to him all of the likes of me will make up the numbers in Hell, and I mean the depths of hell.

The irresponsible rhetoric to even confess that he has knowledge of who goes to heaven and who doesn't is shocking even to the most religious of all religions, and this from the mouth of a politician at that.

This is exactly what the other races and those of non-Muslim faith are concerned of - people like Nik Aziz. But then when we see that the Khalid Samad of PAS, we wish that there are more of him to make a difference.

Beware all those calls to ban concerts and such events and even calling for the revoking of visitation rights of the Chelsea football club manager and a player because they are Jews. This will not be forgotten especially by the young voters.

You will be surprised for if they do not like concerts, then they are football fans.

It is not the call for the bans that worries us; it is this need to impose their will on others, or to put it straight, impose on our rights under the constitution which include freedom of speech and expression which everybody blames Umno or BN of doing.

Yet we see PAS doing it blatantly and without fear or thought.

Will the real Khalid Hassans please stand up for we need more of you and less Nik Azizs as we need to really know the true meaning of Islam, the merciful, and best of all, as a new religion, the most modern.

My wishes go out to all Muslims who support the belief that we do not need any Taliban-type, bullies, especially of those who bully women.
