I refer to the Malaysiakini report Ho me Ministry applies for stay on 'Allah' ruling .

Although the Roman Catholic Church has proved that usage of the term ‘Allah’ is pre-Islamic, that doesn't mean any religion should use this term ‘Allah’.

It is strange why the Roman Catholic Church is so insistent on using the term ‘Allah’ in their Bahasa Malaysia publications. It is theologically and doctrinally incorrect.

A lot of people don't really know the word ‘Allah’. It does not simply mean ‘God’. In Arabic, ‘Illah’ means ‘God’. ‘Allah’ is the name of Moslem God.

Likewise, ‘Yahweh’ is the name of the Jewish and Christian God. Those who claim to be Christian and accept any name for God besides ‘Yahweh’ are not true Christians.

Christian, Moslems and the Jewish are the only group of people who take into account of the sovereignty of our God.

Those who don't know about the importance of the name of Our God, please do not make any comments.

Therefore, it is most appropriate to leave the term ‘Allah’ to the Moslems. For this will ease a lot of the confusion amongst the people.
