According to media reports, several more more PKR members of Parliament are said to be considering resigning from PKR to become ‘independent’ MPs..
We voters are fed up with the ‘frogs’ and the potential ‘frogs’.
I would strongly suggest to Pakatan Rakyat (DAP, PAS and PKR) that for the next election, all chosen candidates should be required to take a public pledge saying that they will remain steadfast and loyal to their parties.
If for any reason they have to want to resign from their respective parties on whose ticket they won the election, they should then pledge to also resign from their respective elected positions whether as a member of Parliament (MP) or state assembly person.
Just signing an undated resignation letter is not enough.
They must be made to declare that they will resign from their elected positions if they ever no longer want to be with the party which helped them get elected.
