Here we go again...Umno Youth doyens are up in arms over an offensive letter to the editor that has hurt their egos. What fragile egos indeed!

I am constantly amazed at the childishness of this group and its members. When faced with more formidable opponents, like Indon threats, etc., they cowl in fear and go back to knitting socks and sweaters for their political bosses. When the 'enemies' are Malaysians without a hope of standing up against the political and militant clout of these little 'princes', they resort to their usual rhetoric of politically charged racism, threats, bully tactics, etc.

In this case, they can find no way of repudiating a letter well grounded in rational arguments, and much like a child, have focused their ire on killing the messenger. Instead of indulging in constructive dialogue to rebut the articles brought up by Petrof, they have chosen instead to hide behind the usual Malaysian politicians' cry — 'sensitive issues'.

One wonders how they can claim such a letter seditious, while they, wanting to burn down buildings, bathe their keris in the blood of minorities and titillating to shouts of cina babi can claim themselves guardians of our nation's peace.

Racial hatred is not caused by letters like that written by Petrof, but by policies which affect masses. Umno Youth have surely backfired again, by trying to stifle the voices of logic and rationality, showing their hypocritical ways yet again, not to mention their leaders' as well.

I can only say that there is no way Umno Youth can claim to represent the views of modern cosmopolitan Malays, considering the way they continue to spew illogical vitriol and underline their cowardice and bullying tendencies.
