The Iban Bible today, the English Bible tomorrow? I would like to echo the voices of over two million Christians within our country who are in despair over our government's recent decision to ban the Iban Bible.

What happened to the religious tolerance so often shouted out about? Are we so insecure as a nation? I say this respectfully, as I love Malaysia just as any true Malaysian would. It breaks my heart to see how we can so easily forget the building blocks of our nation. o­ne would have thought that we would have known better from living together for the past 46 years.

The Bible is the Christian's equivalent of the Quran. I think that statement speaks for itself.

I make this plea to our PM: Please reconsider the ban.
