Sister Julianna was savagely attacked by a fellow human being and eventually succumbed to irrecoverable head injuries.

During her 69 years of earthly life, she touched so many individuals who otherwise may not have had the opportunity to experience some love, warmth and generosity which certainly would have helped to enrich their lives.

Her dedication, sacrifice and undivided faithfulness to her profession, spoke volumes in her incessant smile which she so abundantly displayed to whoever she met in her rounds or came across.

She reminded us that humility and love are the virtues identical to us human beings but in our rush and cravings for materialistic supremacy, we tend to forget it often or tend to misplace these virtues.

Her religious order of charity and service to the less fortunate which she so strictly adhered to, reminds us the reality of the goodness that still exists in the world today and serves as an impetus to us as we get along facing the many challenges in our lives.

I had the opportunity of meeting her briefly and in the brief encounter, she touched me as a person who can bring us down to earth with the radiance of her infectious smile.

Farewell dear Sister, you are definitely in good hands now.
