I disagree with Victor Lee's assertion that ' To deny Jews their homeland is to deny history' . Apart from biblical accounts, there is no other historical evidence tying the Jewish people to Israel. However, religious accounts have no part in the modern world, which is overwhelmingly secular.

The Palestinian people on the other hand have irrefutable proof that their land has been annexed. Title deeds still exist to these lands under British rule which Israel refuses to recognise. Israel was created and legitimised by the United Nations yet it is Israel which in violation of United Nations resolutions.

The concept of Palestine and Israel existing side by side is what was agreed at the United Nations in 1948. It is Israel which is in the wrong for perpetuating the cycle of violence in the Middle East.
