I would like ask why Suaram is organising a demonstration against the misuse of police power now?

Should we not acknowledge that an announcement by the prime minister that the police force has problems and the establishment of royal commission on the police a large step forward? Should we not encourage and support this?

Should we not give the royal commission some time to do their work on giving us some results before we protest?

Something has just been done about the abuse of powers problem. It is a large problem and will take a long time to rectify. But if we protest now, some may just think that we like to make noise and no longer take us seriously anymore.
