Doesn't one think that the news that Proton has appointed Dr Mahathir Mohamad (so he claims) as its advisor a fitting tribute to the folly of the whole national car project?

It is ironic that Mahathir now controls two enormous national monstrosities in terms of corporate governance and responsibility to taxpayers and voters.
