That's right, Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak - blame the media for distorting the scale of the haze and its social, economic and health implications on the people who have to suffer your insulting their intelligence.
Blame the media when the Malaysian government hasn't the guts to tackle the Indonesian government for creating the haze problem. Just as the Malaysian government hasn't got the guts to tackle the Indonesian government regarding the problem of piracy in the seas around Malaysia.
Like Malaysia doesn't also contribute to the world's pollution through its putrid and old smoke-stack industries. And the ever-increasing push to have more and more motor-vehicles on Malaysian roads but never once compelling any of the automakers to install more efficient anti-pollution technologies in their vehicles.
That's right, Najib - when the government screws-up big time, just blame the international media. But spare, of course, the hopelessly pathetic and cowardly Malaysian mainstream media for peddling the government spin, hype and lies.
