I’ve just watched the video of the 21 Christian Egyptians being beheaded by the savage terrorists that go by the name of Isil.

While the ‘Core coalition of 62 countries’ pontificates on what to do, hundreds of men, women and children are being killed mercilessly by the Islamic (as they purport to follow strictly what their prophet decreed) terrorist groups. They are murdering people (and filming their sickening acts for YouTube) in Syria, Iraq, Nigeria, Denmark, Australia, Canada, Pakistan, Libya and other countries.

It’s obvious by now that Isil is infected with thousands of vermin, maybe even a million or more. So sending a few dozen marines to get them is not going to work. It has to be a ‘blanket extermination’ effort. Otherwise, just like the plague, they will spread and infect the entire Middle East, and perhaps, Rome itself, as they recently claimed. There are so many sleeper cells in Europe and Asia, too.

Due to the terrible crimes being committed and an apparent lack of action by the world powers, I and many like me, are fed up. I’m not a military/intelligence expert but how about a plan along these lines to eradicate Isil for now (the same to be done to the other evil Islamic based groups like Boko Haram, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Taliban and others):

1) Severe trade sanction warnings to the silent Isil supporters like Saudi Arabia and Iran. They should immediately cut-off funding to these terrorists and build a wall along their borders (Saudi Arabia is already doing it).

2) Military blockade of the areas where Isil is known to infest ie parts of Syria and Iraq and; possibly parts of Libya, Algeria, Yemen and Egypt. Most importantly, Raqqa city should be encircled tightly by UN/Nato troops.

3) Drop leaflets to the surrounded areas warning all residents to leave the blockaded area as the UN troops are about to bomb. This will allow the innocent (well, if they live with the terrorists, their total innocence is suspect also) people to leave the designated areas. Remember when you bombed Iraq, you did not pre-warn and many innocent lives were lost. Let’s not repeat that while trying to kill a few thousand Muslim terrorists.

4) When you do the above, most innocent people will leave and you need to ensure that where the blockade is open (of course stringent exit/entry checks are necessary), there are refugee camps set up to cater for the human spill.

The terrorists would most likely threaten their people there to stay (and be used as human shield) as they are famous for this form of cowardice but let the people decide if they will obey them (and die along), escape or gang up and defeat their captors. I do expect casualties but then, the people there allowed it to happen in the first place, so this is the price they have to pay now.

The relocation is a mammoth task and has to be undertaken in advance to avoid the human death toll otherwise. Force the terrorist funders to fund the refugee camps.

(Note: In 2009, the Rajapakse army murdered some 80,000 civilians and injured another 100,000; to kill about 2,000 so-called terrorist in Sri Lanka. The world didn't bother till now. So go ahead and do the above, at least you are giving adequate warnings ahead and those who didn't join you, are obviously, the enemy.)

Border control

5) There will be attempts by some of these savages to sneak out, so the border control requires extra diligence, preferably manned by some locals so that they can recognise the disguised terrorists. Heightened vigilance requires an independent officer(s) to supervise all exit points so that the collusion risk is minimised.

Those who are caught, can be sent to Jordan and Egypt to face trial. I do not recommend sending them to the US/UK/Denmark/ Australia where they will use the western legal system to avoid just punishment for their atrocities. Let them be judged by their Islamic peers.

6) After a majority number of the residents have fled the terrorist held areas, drop more pamphlets to give a final chance to the remaining vermin to give up. I think at this point without their ‘human shield’ many of these barbarians will surrender as they are cowards and only have strength in numbers. Those who surrender will be taken to Jordan and Egypt to face trial.

7) Once it’s determined that the hard-core terrorists will not surrender, the ‘Coalition of 62 countries’ (ie those who signed up to fight the terrorists) can start bombing the entire area with whatever type of bombs they decide is best to use. This is best left to the Israeli armed forces to advice as they are most familiar with fighting these types of terrorists in that area.

8) I expect the Isil-held areas to represent a scene like post-war (WW2) Paris, Berlin and Baghdad recently. The terrorist-supporting countries must be forced to pay to rebuild these cities under UN supervision.

For good measure, any religion that supports terror and ill-will against another religion /culture should be banned in these areas so that nobody begins to give shelter for terror cells to grow. Anyone talking about a caliphate should be arrested immediately. All places of worship (would have been destroyed by the shelling) should not be allowed to preach hatred.

This must be enforced for at least 10 years to ensure the surviving terrorists are weaned out and jailed or rehabilitated.

While the actions above may seem to some as draconian (and some will say it’s a tit-for-tat action), I think these are very necessary to kill the Isil once and for all. For too long, we have allowed ourselves to be bullied by these machete totting maniacs and other equally deranged pretenders who force their beliefs unto others.

RAMESH RAJARATNAM is sickened by the world powers not acting with force to end the violence caused by Islamic terrorists.
