Najib’s answers are not what rakyat want to hear

The Malaysian Indians Progressive Association (Mipas) strongly disagrees with Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s statement in a pre-recorded interview with TV3 last night that he is answerable only to the people, not to any individual. Mipas would like to stress here that an individual person is a part of the people, too.

Prime Minister Najib’s answers are not what the rakyat want to hear. But Najib did not answer former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s allegations at all, just with only a few lines. Mipas would like to say that the pre-recorded interview with TV3 last night is just like a game show to shut the rakyat’s mouths, especially that of Dr Mahathir.

All the questions and answers must have been prepared earlier by Media Prima/TV3, which all the rakyat know is a BN/Umno TV station. This means there is no transparency at all. If it was a live telecast from an online TV station, or a local or foreign TV station without any interference from BN/Umno, than at least all the rakyat of Malaysia would have confidence and trust in the interview.

Mipas also suggests that the public should be allowed to have a question-and-answer session directly with our loving Prime Minister Najib.
