What is the next allegation? Anwar a CIA agent?

Kzacar's letter US will get Anwar to be PM at any cost sounds like it is taken straight out of the book called '50 reasons why Anwar can't be PM'. I wonder if Kzacar believes in his own statements or if he is just trying attack Anwar's character.

Yes, Anwar has friends in the US, but that does not make him an American stooge. I did not hear of any Americans visiting him in Germany after his surgery. Former Indonesian president BJ Habibie was there, but perhaps he is an undercover CIA agent, too, Who offered to fly Anwar to Germany? The Saudis did, not the US.

Kzacar claims that Ronald Reagan, George Bush Senior, and Bill Clinton all allocated substantial funds to overthrow Dr Mahathir Mohamad in favour of Anwar. That is simply a laughable claim. During Reagan's time, Anwar was hardly more than a student politician in his 30s, just freed from jail for being an extremist Islamic activist.

The Reagan administration had one goal and that was to defeat and defend against communism anywhere in the world. Reagan supported Mahathir because he wasn't a communist. The Reagan administration would also have supported a PAS government or even the devil himself as long as they weren't communist. That was the reality, not a Kzacar conspiracy theory.

Respectively, the Bush Senior and Clinton administrations certainly had no official agenda to make Anwar prime minister of Malaysia. So how come Kzacar knows about this plan to overthrow Mahathir and install Anwar as a stooge PM?

Has Kzacar access to confidential CIA files or is his imagination running wild in a sinister way? Where is the proof of those funds? What was the amount? To whom was it paid or how was it spent in order to topple Mahathir?

The truth is that Mahathir was never a danger to US national security and interests. Mahathir never once tried to stop US investing in Malaysia or to prevent US companies from doing business in Malaysia.

Mahathir and Malaysia were always on the US' side during the Cold War against the Sovjet Union and their communist allies. But after the Cold War, the US could suddenly afford to become more selective in their dealings with foreign governments, and could step on Mahathir's toes without fearing that he would jump ship to the communist side.

Would the US have preferred Anwar over Mahathir? Maybe not. Nothing has ever been officially stated on it and there is probably no policy on it. Is the US happy that Anwar is free? Yes, and that was officially stated.

US funding Anwar's surgery? Now here Kzacar takes baseless claims to a new low. He apparently knows nothing about it, but does not hesitate to state it as a fact. Only a man with a hidden agenda himself is capable of such.

Kzacar's letter reminds me of a joke that goes like this: 'Stop the persecution of us paranoids!'.
