With regards to Alfred Ho's accusation and Michael Chong's reply , I strongly feel that this case should be settled amicably with an open mind and with honesty and sincerity. It must not be allowed to drag on indefinitely as it will benefit nobody.
If I am not mistaken, Ho is not asking for any handouts and as such I don't see why it is such a big issue. Chong has done a great job so far and I hope he will rise to the occasion again to address Ho's problem.
Whatever it is, it takes two to tango and I hope Chong and Ho can meet again to settle this problem and maybe even become good friends after understanding each other better.
Even if Chong can't get Ho reinstated at RTM, he can always try other establishments. But on this point, Ho will have to understand Chong's constraints.
And hopefully, executives of organisations which need Ho's services can contact him as soon as possible. Sometimes it is heartbreaking to see disabled people struggling to get a job, even though they are not asking for handouts.
Last but not least, I believe if everyone put their aside their egos, have patience and listen sincerely to the other party, most problems can be solved. One should be flexible and be willing to compromise if necessary depending on the situation at hand.
Good luck to Chong and Ho. May God bless you both.
