While I sympathise with the families of the victims who perished in the recent crackdown in southern Thailand , I would advise that we do not get ourselves involved or react too emotionally with regard to how the Thai authorities handle their internal affairs.

We may condemn and comment, but let not our emotions take control of us.

I believe that if that group of protestors were made up of people from different faiths - not particularly one specific faith - the actions of the Thai forces would have been the same as it involves their own internal security and national sovereignty.

It is not for us to tell them what is right or wrong. If we don't seek trouble, it will not come to us, and even if it does, we can avoid it and things will be fine.

I believe reactions may have been different had that group of protestors not gone so far over the line. A good religion or faith does not teach its followers to go to war, but preaching is often deviated to mislead followers into believing that they are going to war in the name of religion.

As always, it is a political agenda that uses religion as propaganda to achieve political mileage.
