With reference to Jon Thomson's response to Marcus Falco's letter on the Gen2, kindly allow me to share my two cents worth of thoughts.
Firstly, it is Falco's hard hitting words that makes changes in the industry. If only selective hearing is applied in such situation, then there will be no room for improvements.
I do not think Bruce McMahon's review of the Gen2 is in stark contrast with one provided by Falco. It was just written in a more subtle way. Again, John Wright of the Trading Post making a statement regarding the handling of the Gen2 should merely be taken as a compliment and nothing more.
There is no point singing over good handling when all else about the car is pretty much poorly put together. Might as well drive a go-kart. In short, what I am trying to put through here is this:
- If you score in Geography and fail all the other subjects, is this an achievement?
- If you have the best reference books, the best tuition, the best computer, the best stationery etc. and yet still fail all subjects except Geography, would you go out tell the world or sit back and reassess the failures?
I think your answer will be the same as mine. Learn from the mistakes. Do not selectively hear or read.
