Ketuanan is raising its ugly head everywhere nowadays. It’s message is the same - the non-Malays, non-Muslims are lower class citizens and must respect the ‘sensitivities’ of the Malays /Muslims which cover an unlimited area, as decided on the spur of the moment according to the whims and fancies of little Napoleons, muftis, preachers, teachers, etc.

Now we have the Ipoh City Council telling the non-Malays that they don’t understand what ‘kecuali’ means. In the Ipoh City Council’s Bahasa, it means ‘permitted’ and not ‘prohibited’ as understood by the non-Malays who raised a fuss about it. Thank you, Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI) for correcting our poor Bahasa.

In what way will the staff assembly be “tercemar” if sarees are worn by the Indian staff? On the one hand, specifying the attire for the occasion, the invitation card says the non-Malays should wear “baju perayaan masing-masing”, but this is followed immediately by “kecuali sari”. Then what baju perayaan are the Indians to wear - sarong-kebaya, cheongsam, tight jeans, hot-pants? Must be the work of a National Civics Bureau (BTN) graduate.

What lascivious thoughts run through the minds of these men who see women not covered from face to toe? Have these minds been conditioned by the promise and thoughts of the 72 virgins in Heaven?

Just go to the airports and shopping complexes and see the number of ladies whose aurat are not covered. Are airlines under orders to ensure that none of these ladies is given a seat next to a Malay/Muslim?

Do all Malay/Muslim men turn away their faces when they see these aurat-uncovered ladies, not one or two, but in droves, or do they just not go to these places to avoid committing sin with thoughts of sex?

Will the immigration make it a rule or regulation that all ladies entering Malaysia must wear clothes that cover the aurat or they will be put on the next flight back?

May I suggest that airlines have stacks of sarong in the planes (like they have newspapers) to be handed to the inappropriately dressed ladies boarding flights to or in Malaysia.

There are a Iot of Malays/Muslims who are not disturbed by the way non-Muslims/non-Malays dress. Just a small group of bigots in certain positions of authority who want to show their authority as ‘tuans’. They are anti-national and sadists, besides being bigots.
