According to a report , the police is attempting to stop the publication and distribution of a book titled Khir Toyo: Antara Amanah & Khianat ( Khir Toyo: Between Trust & Betrayal ) and penned by one Mohamad Rafi Awg Kechik.

I think the Internal Security Ministry must clarify whether the cabinet has ordered the book to be banned and that the police were indeed executing a cabinet order. The ministry must also give reason why the book has to be banned and in what way the contents of the book jeopardise national security.

If there is no such cabinet decision, then the police are abusing their powers, or doing something that is not legal and constitutional.

The police officer who ordered such a ban must be investigated whether he or she has been personally bribed to protect the powerful politician from being publicly held accountable in a normal democratic practice.
