Some parties have said that cats do not attack people. It is not true that cats do not attack people. There have been several cases of cats attacking people although these have not been reported in our local papers.
There was a case in Greece where an elderly lady was attacked by her cat when she is feeding it . The elderly lady, unfortunately, died. Allow me to quote part of the article ...
'Sept 29, 2003: A 76-year-old woman in Thessaloniki, Greece, paid for her love for animals with her life when she was attacked in her apartment by her cat, and died of blood loss'.
Cats also create a lot of nuisance by going over to their neighbours' homes to defecate and rampaging through the garbage bins. A friend of mine once found three kittens under his car.
Fortunately, she managed to hear them meowing before she drove over them and subsequently spent hours getting them out. For this effort, her daughter had to missed tuition class.
Just like dog owners, cat owners also need to learn to be responsible owners and not let their cats wander over their neighbour's fences. Cat's also meow in the middle of the night which in turn, prompts dogs to response by barking.
One of the others reasons why dogs bark in the middle of the night is because they see these cats wandering around freely on the streets. To ensure that dogs do not bark in the middle of the night cat owners should ensure that their cats do not go walking around in the middle of the night.
