I refer to the article Seri Perdana's cost: 'Now, what shall we tell 'em?'
We will never get the truth from the government regardless of what project we are enquiring about, be it Seri Perdana or the many other colossal super-projects.
The is no truth in anything they say. All the people who has direct or indirect interests in these projects will prevent the truth from coming out. 'Fighting corruption' is just a term to make the government sound important and look good.
But the truth is they are so corrupted to the bone. We have not heard the full explanations for MAS' shares buy-back scheme from Tajuddin Ramli, Bank Islam's phenomenal losses, Bank Negara's stupendous foreign exchange losses, the mind-boggling Sime Bank deal and of course, the great AP issue.
As long as the government is not willing to be truthful, transparent and have an open tender policy, there will be corruption. This will very well lead the country to bleed to death.
