  • I agree with Md Kamal Abdullah (Syariah Court should hear both sides) that the Syariah Court should not have made the order it made without hearing both sides especially when there were controversies in the case.

    To me this shows that justice was not done by hearing the matter ex-parte when Islam propagates justice for all, be he a Muslim or not. This is another instance which shows that syariah courts are only a court of law not a court of justice.
