  • I read with interest Abu Murabak's letter and his understanding and fear for dogs.

He is right in that the responsible dog owner plays a very important role in our society. We, responsible dog owners, welcome his constructive contribution of ideas and his view points for dog owners.

We, as responsible dog owners, would always like to influence those irresponsible dog owners to treat dogs with respect.

Similarly, we would encourage the public to educate their friends and children to not disturb or tease dogs especially when they pass by houses within their compound.

Dogs instinctively bark at when strangers come near their domain.
