I refer to the letter M'sia lucky to have Pak Lah, Najib and I agree with it. I heard that Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak told us to change our lifestyles. What if he does it first? Be an example to the public. I want to see him riding his bicycle, use candle light in his house, dig a well at his house and eat 'kembung' fish only on every alternate day.

If he can survive this, well so can we. A leader should show an example to the public first right? But 30 sen looks like nothing to him. If the oil price is raised, everything will rise except salaries.

And that's only for working people. How about the non-working people?? How can they survive when everything is rising in price?

Abdullah said the increase was made to conserve the country's oil resources and curb smuggling into neighbouring countries. If that is the case why doesn't the government make it a law that all buying petrol first show the Malaysian identity cards? Don't let the Singaporeans buy petrol from Malaysia. Or have a limit for them, meaning that Singaporeans and Thais can only buy a maximum of say RM10 petrol. Or even RM5.

You mean to tell me that because of these 'smugglers', all Malaysians have to face the consequences? Not all Malaysians are rich. So please, if oil prices are raised, please also raise our salaries.
