A crooked bridge was wrong from the very start.

Look at the Western countries. Their cities are so well-planned and so user and tourist-friendly. But look at our own cities. Roads meandering here and there. I have seen newly tarred roads dug up within a span of two weeks for the laying of water pipes. Our towns are so badly planned that a resident from KL can easily get lost in PJ and vice versa

Snaked or crooked, be it road or bridge, it only adds to an increased cost of construction. Not to mention the increased damage to the environment, more man hours lost and increased fuel usage (in the time of increasing petrol prices.)

Common sense will tell you that a crooked bridge is a crooked idea. To me, it is straight bridge or no bridge at all.
