As a loyal rakyat, I appreciated Dr Mahathir Mohamad's service to the country as prime minister for over two decades. He has served the nation to the best of his abilities, contributing much to the progress of the country for which we were indeed grateful.

But I observed, and also by his own admission, he had made some mistakes that were and are detrimental to the country. Surely Dr Mahathir had his time and opportunity to do his best. Now is the time to let others lead.

We have taken the gamble and voted in Pak Lah and his team. Give them the time and liberty to serve the nation. Pak Lah loves the nation as much as Dr Mahathir. Give him a chance.
