So many overseas movies flooding our country today and particularly interesting are those from Korea. Look at the way they synergise their economical power to promote their country from the tourism sector to their film industry.

Their drama series of stories from the ancient days till modern times are all nicely packaged and 'displayed' (actual word is: marketing to the world's consumers). The same for Korean cars, handphones, air conditioners, digital products and many more.

Looking at our Malaysia Boleh country, hardly is there seen any Malaysia identity. We Malaysians seem to be so proud of ours Mercedes Benzes, BMWs, Nokias, Sanyos, Apples and Bollywood flicks.

Let's look at the latest Petronas Primax-3 motor oil. They should at least feature our Proton Savvy or Proton Satria Neo and if this is not a high standard enough, then what about our Lotus brand? If we Malaysians ourselves do not support our Malaysian products, who else under the sun do you think is going to do this for Malaysians?

We all given the power for those few sitting in the nice offices with thick carpet to run proper businesses on behalf of all Malaysians but they do not seem to understand the objective of building brands and building businesses.

Who should we fire now? The chief in Petronas? The chief in Proton? The marketing directors in Proton and Petronas? Or the cabinet?
