I refer to you report Seminar on Islam not violating PM's directive .

I can't help but suspect that the Muslim NGO groups, with the backing of Umno Youth, are launching a series of counter attacks against the Article 11 NGO coalition despite the gag order by the prime minister on such activities.

A forum to discuss 'Challenges to the rights of Muslims' was held last Saturday. In reality, is there such a need for such a topic to be discussed knowing well that the rights of Muslims in this country are indisputable and unquestionable?

The organisers of the above forum said the event was not in violation of the PM's order. What then is in direct violation and what is not in violation of the PM's order?

The organisers also said the seminar would not touch on issues like the Interfaith Commission and they hoped that those attending would not ask about sensitive issues. But really, is this a realistic expectation?

If these kind of forums are allowed to be continued in the future, obviously and blatantly the PM is showing favoritism. I hope the PM would do something about this. I hope the PM is showing us he is the PM of all Malaysians. The Article 11 group has dutifully listened to the PM and in fact, the PM has agreed to meet up with the group though he has yet to fix a date.

We also note that the Umno Youth Gopeng discussing the Lina Joy case and the apostasy issue. If the non-Muslims NGOs are not allowed to discuss these issues, then why is an exception allowed for Umno Youth? The PM should be fair to all.
