  • The MCA and Gerakan annual general meetings have just finished and the comments raised were racial talks about the unwarranted statement by Umno Youth deputy chief Khairy Jamaluddin that the Chinese will take advantage of a weak Umno.

Although this remark was meant to unite the Malays under Umno, I personally feel that Barisan Nasional is using this stunt to overcome the current poor trend of the BN and also to camouflage certain weaknesses that have been exposed or may be exposed in PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's administration. On the other hand, former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad seems to be holding ceramahs to voice his unhappiness with the current leadership.

Looking at these situations, what an able government would do is to stop these two gentlemen (Khairy and Mahathir) from proceeding, by arresting them and charging them under ISA, the best weapon created by the BN government.

To our surprise, until today, Pak Lah only says its up to Khairy to explain and in the case of Tun Dr Mahathir, let the barking dog keep barking, and eventually he will get tired and stop. But I do not think this barking dog, Mahathir, is going to stop. Rather than exposing what he actually knows, Mahathir seems to be using fellow Malaysians to achieve his ultimate goal.

I am sure there is some hidden agenda by these two leaders ... Pak Lah and Mahathir ... what I feel is a breach of understanding (contract). So Malaysians, do not fall for these cheap tricks
    by these men.
