  • Whose reality is Mrafee (Inter-religious marriages: Sacrifice your love) referring to when he says "this is the way we do things here"? Polygamy is allowed and even encouraged by many, but talk to the thousands of women whom have suffered while their husbands ran off with younger women, apparently for "love" ... talk about hypocrisy.

The reality is this - the world does not revolve around your narrow view of it. Instead we are all a part of it, wherever we may be, in whichever country we call our home. We are all different - sometimes there are huge differences even between siblings, parents and children.

What use are we to people if we cannot accept the notion that not everyone is like us? I am a Malaysian, and I am a Muslim, but first and foremost, I am a human being. If a Muslim wants to marry a non-Muslim, so be it. We will be better off if we are able to deal with reality, rather than pretend it is someone else's.
