I refer to the letter Open letter to Mongolians .

It was a shocking and tragic moment for me to learn that a beautiful Mongolian girl was brutally murdered here in Malaysia. It does not matter to me where she is from. Being cold-bloodedly blown to pieces is inhuman and extremely cruel.

I, on behalf of all kind-hearted Malaysians, would also like to offer our condolences to the family of the victim. I can reassure them that the Malaysian government will handle the investigations professionally. Needless to say, our police force is one of the best in the world.

I hope that Malaysia and Mongolia will maintain their good political and economics ties with each other. I know that it is very hard to be rational when we are upset and depressed. But please bear in mind that a crime and murder can take place anywhere in this world.

To all foreigners out there, please do not feel anxious and worried about coming to Malaysia due to this incident. My country is definitely a safe place to visit. Malaysians are known for their friendliness and we have a lot more to offer you.

Despite being multi-racial and multi-cultural, we can still live in peace and harmony. Do come and celebrate with us our 50 years of nationhood next year.
