• Umnoputras will lead Umno to extinction

  • The Umnoputras has yet again played the race card at the Umno general assembly last week with threats, contempt and rude manners. The good news was that at least now there isn't any pretence from Umno in terms of its policies and agendas. The bad though is that Umno's cronies continue to live with the same sense of falseness.

They continue to hang on for dear life despite doubts of the current leadership or they lack the courage to do the right thing. Survival is a crude game in Malaysian politics divided along racial differences. I truly feel ashamed of MCA, MIC and Gerakan leaders for what I associate as taking slaps with a smile. To no ends we see these so-called 'leaders' taking insults and humiliations from junior politicians of Umno.

Cronyism really does change a man. I feel disturbed that they can still walk with heads held up high.

Anyway, distorting what was in the Constitution merely displays how aged the minds of the powers-that-be are. The refusal to change, adapt and grow has become a way of life with the Umnoputras. Abuse of power, shameless acts of corruption and the lack of virtues become the only way for survival.

Let history be the judge of the Malays for throughout history it has been proven time and again that a false sense of 'supremacy' will ultimately result in a downfall. Survival is a funny game. If one thinks the loudest and strongest will outlive the smaller and more adaptable ones, then our friends in Umno will be in for a rude shock.

The natural selection process does not necessarily favours strengths in these matters. The ability to change, adapt, grow and re-invent is among the formulas that have been proven to work. The Umnoputras' refusal to change and adapt will lead the party to its own extinction. History will be the judge, for survival is really a funny game.
