For the information of the writer, Malaysia is not a signatory to UN's International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. There are 22 nations which are not signatories to the convention and they include Singapore.

These 22 states are free to racially discriminate against their own citizens of different races. Meaning that racist governments can exist in these countries.

The countries are Angola, Bhutan, Brunei, the Cook Islands, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Djibouti, Dominica, Grenada, Guinea-Bissau, Kiribati, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Micronesia (Federated States of), Myanmar, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Samoa, Sao Tome and Principe, Singapore, Tuvalu and Vanuatu
