I am really disgusted by antics of S Samy Vellu. He wants action to be taken against those responsible for exposing toll concession agreements.

Why must action be taken against someone who furnishes us, the poor public, with information which we have every right to know? We have every right to know the terms and agreements og agreements which affect us.

Maybe Samy Vellu has been in office for far to long and he has forgotten that he was voted in to his office to safeguard our interests. Instead, he condones the very lopsided agreements in favour of the highway concessionaires by agreeing to pay the latter for any profits that fall short of expectations.

He goes on to tell the poor motorists that 'if you want it, pay for it'. Dear Samy, we want it, but not on the terms and conditions that are very much in favour of the concessionaires which go to the extent of compensating for their losses.

Now Samy, in future, instead of telling the public 'if you want it, pay for it', you should put this condition to concessionaires: 'If you want it (the project), be ready to pay for it (your losses)'.

In the world of business, there is no such thing as a guaranteed profit. Only fools will do that.
