  • Kudos to the Anti-Corruption Agency for initiating action against the officials who were involved in mismanaging government funds. We hope that the ACA will continue its work in combating malpractices in Malaysia.

The ACA's action in charging the culprits in court would send a clear message that the authorities are serious in acting against any malpractice. As it has always been said, if there is a will then there is a way. In this instance, the ACA had shown it has the will.

We further hope that while the ACA decides to prosecute offenders, everyone will be treated alike. There should not be any selective prosecution. Transparency and fairplay should be the guiding principles.

Malaysians would also want to see people in high office hauled up and charged in the same way if there are instances of malpractice.
