What the prime minister said is true - there has never been a peaceful gathering. But to make such a statement, the prime minister has overlooked or has chosen to overlook the truth. The Barisan government, with their typical forked-tongue, tries to preach to the opposition parties on what they should do.

The MCA and MIC must tell Umno that in the coming general election, the Barisan government will be taking a thrashing from the Malaysian voters. Umno, especially the Umno Youth, has become arrogant. Since the prime minister is still resting on his laurels, he has to be awaken by MCA and MIC. Umno cannot win the election without the original alliance.

I doubt that the PM is aware of the grave situation in Malaysia. Running a multiracial country requires sensitivity. To depend on his son-in-law, whose mouth can shoot stray bullets, will do more harm than good. Anyway, he is a nobody except that he enjoys privileges as the prime minister's son-in-law.

Do we really need such a personality, one who has shown his true colours in his previous demonstrations? There were no restrictions from the police and no roadblocks, so what Umno has done and can do is their prerogative. What do you have to say, MCA and MIC? Try and you will be shot down like strays.

In the early centuries, the Chinese emperor depended on his eunuchs because he was too occupied with his concubines. The country's state of affairs was driven to corruption and abuses by the high and mighty landlords. In this day and age, political eunuchs are aplenty. They should be "castrated" from their posts. This can be done only by people who are patriotic to Malaysia and the Agong.

I believe that our beloved Agong has seen with his own eyes what has happened in the recent Hindraf protest. But where was our prime minister? Zam (Zainuddin Maidin) and Nazri (Abdul Aziz) were barking up the wrong tree time and again but the deputy prime minister remained strangely quiet. Now that the American government has voiced their concern, I wonder if Nazri dares to tell the American government to butt out , in the same way he told the Tamil Nadu chief minister.

Nazri has the guts to say that he supports the millions who chose not to participate in the street protest rather than the tens of thousands who did. Well, the ball is at your feet, my dear S Samy Vellu. The three scheduled rallies in December will definitely make more Malaysians see the grave situation. Malaysians should not fear the truth because to fear the truth will be a battle lost, but to know the truth will set you free.
