'Tell us what you want to do for Selangor from an economic point of view. Not party politics. Developmental, socio-economic, micro and macro levels, wages and so on. Put it on paper.'
Anwar declares war to defend S'gor
Nicholas Lim Ming Xhin: Anwar Ibrahim, we hope you are serious this time and will not be spending too much time overseas. By now, you should have known all about the treachery of Hasan Ali.
So what steps are being taken to counter him and the pro-Umno faction in PAS? We hope Raja Petra Kamarudin's warning that Selangor will be toppled by January 2010 will not come to pass.
Leave the dirty wars to Raja Petra's group. You should concentrate fully on strengthening Pakatan Rakyat and delivering the goods to the people. Thank you and good luck.
Ikmal: Kindly tell us what you want to do for Selangor from an economic point of view. Not party politics. Developmental, socio-economic, micro and macro levels, wages and so on. Put it on paper. Enough of rhetoric.
Rasool Khan: Don't let what happened in Perak to happen again. Never!
Conned: Some low life forms are always negative so just ignore them, Anwar. Just go on, we have faith. Fifty-two years of being messed around with and nobody said anything, but after only one year, they expect miracles form Pakatan. Podah!
PBJ: Some say Anwar's lack of visibility shows that he does not care anymore, or has weakened the opposition's image.
But on the other side of the same coin, his lack of appearance has meant that when he finally shows up again, he means business. His words still hit home hard. When Anwar acts, it's crunch time!
Vchun: Unity and integrity will save Pakatan in Selangor. A costly lesson has been learnt from Perak.
Joseph P: Strategy means you 'make the move' first. Tactical means the other side move first and you use your 'tactics' to fight back. So, to hammer BN, you need to make the rakyat of selangor happy.
But so far your promises are hollow. Selangor Menteri Besar .Khalid Ibrahim is hardworking but not results-driven.
Bosco Philip Anthony: Anwar, as much as you love to play politics, you have an obligation to see that the state government is able to function efficiently with the cooperation of the civil service.
The delivery system in terms of the expected service is not up to our expectations. We hope that you will be able to wake up the BN sympathisers in the civil service and make them realise that governments may come and go, but whatever it is the civil service should provide an efficient service.
Khalid: Even Umno admits we are doing well in S'gor
Robert L: It is also very possible that Muhammad Muhammad Taib's 'admission' that Pakatan is doing a good job in ruling Selangor is an attempt by BN to inculcate a false sense of security while BN tries to surreptitiously take over Selangor. Don't believe a politician too readily, especially one from BN.
Chew Seng Kok: BN is putting all its effort to win Selangor back, so Pakatan beware. Any slight mistake and they will capitalise on it.
Pakatan's work will have to be based on facts and figures. Put emotions and feelings aside and work towards the targets. Be a more intelligent team-player by knowing the strength and the specialities of your team members.
