The National Council for Local Government today agreed to the gated community and guarded neighbourhood guidelines at its meeting chaired by Muhyiddin Yassin.

The deputy prime minister said the state governments should adhere to the guidelines should they intend to implement the gated community and guarded neighbourhood concepts.
