So it's okay to protest outside Najib's home

y OURSAY 'How is it conceivable that a group of racist radicals are freely allowed to protest in front of the house of the CM without any resistance?'

Guan Eng: Perkasa protests have to respect privacy

your say Kairos: What Perkasa did by staging the mock funeral outside Penang CM Lim Guan Eng's residence is very inflammatory. It is 100 percent racist in nature and is totally contradictory to the desire of the government for racial harmony in this country.

How can the Home Ministry condone such racial provocation and not do anything about it? Either the government is weak or it subscribes to the seeds of hatred sown by Perkasa.

Just because it is done to an opposition CM you don't like does not make the despicable action right. Has the government lost its sense of right and wrong?

The police have again disgraced themselves. How is it conceivable that a group of racist radicals are freely allowed to protest in front of the house of the CM without any resistance?

Yet when innocent rakyat protest peacefully for a just cause, they are beaten up and tear gassed. Why the discrepancy?

Clearly, the police are totally biased and partial in favour of the Malay-based NGO. This is another black mark in the report card of the Malaysian police.

They have failed the rakyat miserably. They really ought to be ashamed of themselves.

BTN: There is no law in Malaysia apart from Umno law. They have been in power for so long that arrogance and corruption has become part and parcel of their present existence.

The people's mind has been brainwashed to view one another by the colour of their skin and this is the core of Umno continued existence.

Solaris: "It is the right of every Malaysian to be able to protest his or her own issues, but to do so by intruding into personal space and invading the privacy of family homes or wishing for the death of anyone is utterly vile, completely disrespectful and contrary to the basic tenets of democracy," Lim Guan Eng (LGE) said.

Huh... say what? Is LGE saying the area outside his gate is his personal space? And how and when did those ‘baboons invade the privacy of his family home when they were outside his gate?

Wishing for his death? Even a moron like Ibrahim Ali could tell you that its LGE's political death that his primate minions are hoping, not his physical death.

Best of all, how is all this contrary to the 'basic tenets of democracy?' This is exactly what democracy is about.

Has LGE not taken to the streets (just like those ‘baboons') with Anwar Ibrahim or DAP before? How was that democratic and this street protest not? Why the double standards?

Onyourtoes: The Malay leaders within Pakatan Rakyat must speak up on this issue more, and if not, they are not worth supporting.

Can't they see Perkasa and those half-baked fake NGOs are exploiting racism targeting at non-Malay politicians?

Speak up and fight them or we can all just get ready to be ruled by them for another 50 years.

Hello: What can we expect from hooligans and thugs under the guise of small traders and under the wing of Perkasa.

These people are also encouraged by the partisan attitude of the police and the appointed mayor of Kuala Lumpur who didn't take any action even though laws were broken.

This is quite a contrast to the reaction of these two authorities in the Bersih 3.0 sit down protest, where they immediately took action without provocation.

Sarajun Hoda: You think these Perkasa chaps or even Umno guys really know what democracy is?

As we can see, they only want power so that they can continue to steal public money. And they are doing these because the cake has shrunk.

Use your brains or be buried, PAS tells Perkasa

Louis: Perkasa is a mirror image of Umno. With such rowdy barbarians making stupid demands, do you think MCA, Gerakan or MIC can manage them?

James1067: Najib Abdul Razak works day and night trying to win the peoples' heart but these fellows seem out to destroy whatever hard work the PM puts in by driving away the voters.

The police also just stand and watch, which means that they are in agreement with these jokers.

Yeoke: Umno thinks that such intimidation can win votes? I just don't understand BN's strategy in winning over the people's heart and votes.

Anonymous_3e86: What if some people held a similar ‘funeral' in front of PM Najib Razak's residence? Will the police stop it from happening?

My guess is that the police will put the people behind bars. This is how the law works in Bolehland.

There is no law for BN and its friends while the rest are subjected to ISA and other cruel laws.

Headhunter: Use their brain? They don't have any!
