DAP duo attacked by BN supporters, suffer fractures

your sayVgeorgemy: The time has come for MIC to act as a descent political organisation in this country.

For too long MIC leadership has used hoodlumism to suppress peaceful dissent within the community. We are no longer in a mood to tolerate any such terror activities.

Our plea to MIC is to disband its gangster-related activities immediately. If not, we will work tirelessly to spread our message of ‘Anything but MIC' in the constituencies where they are contesting during GE13.

The Indian community doesn't need hoodlums to control their daily life. Please note that the rakyat are learning to overcome their fear, and the movement is led by an Indian lady, Bersih co-chairperson S Ambiga.

Armageddon: We have seen Malays gangsterism in politics and now Indians. The Chinese may be coming soon if these unhealthy trend is not stopped by "god knows who", since we not hearing anything from the police or the BN leaders.

The future opposition party (BN) must understand that in a democracy, there are differences in opinions.

Satu Malaysian: I am a bit puzzled here. How do they know that the attackers are from BN? It doesn't sound logical.

Why should MIC gangsters attack the Indraf duo? They have no cause to. Since V Ganabatirau and Raidu broke away from Hindraf, it is the latter that would have reason to be angry with them.

Does this mean that Hindraf is now aligned to BN and MIC? Has P Uthayakumar become one of the independent supporters of BN lately? Is Human Rights Party (HRP) Baru on the pipeline?

Not Convinced: Satu Malaysian, the answer is right before your nose. Which group has a long history of violence - MIC or Hindraf?

Bartimaeus 2020: This is the latest in a series of acts of hooliganism approved by the regime and/or by its hangers-on. This being the case, it is not likely that the delinquents will be charged with the offence.

Increasingly, disgruntled citizens will be opting for private redress. A society envied by other nations for its peacefulness and harmony is slowly but steadily declining into anarchy.

RealSoldier: Najib has to answer all Malaysians on the increase in street violence.

Lim Chong Leong: With Scorpene hearing disclosing more and more, and many scandals that PM cannot answer but offers only "no comment", he cannot hope to cling to power unless by emergency rule.

So for whatever it takes, he will try to break our patience and retaliate with his goons' violence and he will then be free to declare emergency and rule as the next Ferdinand Marcos and Imelda.

But we shall not break. We shall turn our anger and disappointment and sadness into votes against BN and Umno.

Cantabrigian: It is not a normal day in Malaysia if you don't hear news about BN supporters injuring someone, showing sex materials to public, shake their ass in front of people's house, etc.

Pemerhati: The BN thugs, who in addition to the hired thugs include the members of the component parties and the enforcement agencies like the police and the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission), know that they can literally get away with murder and that after their dastardly acts against the opposition, they will quietly be praised and protected by the top Umno people as was clearly shown by Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein's behaviour towards the despicable cow-head protesters and in the Teoh Beng Hock case.

If there is too much of an uproar then there will be some kind of a ‘sandiwara' to carry out an investigation and the wrongdoers will be let off with a small rap on the wrist after being quietly rewarded for their criminal actions.

Louis: I feel thugs are in charge of our security now. Every now and then, we hear attacks on opposition and hardly have I heard any of the attackers being jailed.

Is our country going back to the Wild Wild West or the time Al Capone was king of the mobsters? Over to you, IGP (inspector-general of police).

Swipenter: The ‘Hang Samseng' culture is spreading like wildfire.

Take action or face music, assaulted DAP duo tell cops

IloveBN: Imagine if it was one of opposition members who had attacked a BN member.

The whole family would have been arrested by now and the case would have been closed with the opposition members being imprisoned.

What a useless police force we have. What a useless IGP we have. What a useless PM and home minister we have.

Derock: Why should the police take any action? Why should they arrest anyone from BN? Remember, there is one SOP (standard operating procedure) for BN and another for others. The opposition belong to the "others".

Free and Fair Election: The police will say that both brothers got into a fight after a heavy drinking session.

LGE: Police failure to act may lead to thug rule
