After 55 years, we finally got our Malaysian product right. Ambiga represents all the things we want this country to be:

Racial equality. Freedom of speech and freedom of expression. Fight for your beliefs. And fairness in elections.

Ambiga, we Malaysians are behind you all the way. All 28 million of us.

From day one, Umno never agreed and never accepted the concept of their leader's (PM Najib Razak) '1Malaysia' concept.

I would actually like to see Umno politicians continue to display their ‘true colours' which will help BN to reach its grave soon and put an end to the darkest chapter in the political history of this nation.

Nowhere in the world a person will be called a ‘traitor' for organising a rally demanding for free and fair elections. The Bersih movement's objective is straightforward and transparent.

If the Indian representatives in BN have any dignity left, they should all resign en bloc and have the guts to stand with Ambiga and save this country from racist politicians.

Onyourtoes: It is racism no doubt; many Umno MPs thrive on racism because they think there is no need for non-Malays' support when come to election in their constituencies.

Hence the perennial play to on racism and parochialism to gather support among the extremists.

But my issue with Pakatan Rakyat is why only DAP is taking this up. What happen to PKR and PAS MPs, are they not as concerned that threatening and racist statements have been uttered in the Dewan?

Otherwise, these participants should "hang" BN through the ballot box.
