It usually involves really qualified accountants with long experience. Even then, the involvement of such professionals does not necessarily guarantee success.

Your failure to check beforehand what is readily available for public consumption indicates clearly that you are far from qualified to deal with such a matter. Maybe next time, eh?

Maplesyrup: I would say, considering property firm Talam's financial position then, what the MBI (Menteri Besar Incorporated) did was a smart move to ensure what Talam owes the Selangor government does not become a bad debt.

Starr: Chua Tee Yong is a trained accountant, but not all accountants are equal. Some are better trained, and thus more qualified than others as not all accountancy training and examinations are as rigorous as others. I'm not surprised he made such a blunder.

KSD: I am not an accountant but even I can see that the Selangor Pakatan government basically cleaned up the mess created by the BN government by taking a haircut on the debt due from Talam and salvaging something out of a lost cause.
