In hot water over 'family extermination' posting

YOURSAY ‘Nine familial extermination’ to me is evil and vindictive to the extreme.’

Heng defends 'execute' DAP, PKR families remark

Ferdtan: How can MCA Wanita chief Heng Seai Kie be so cruel to ask for the families of DAP/PKR to be ‘executed’ in her “nine familial extermination” call?

So Heng, are you asking not only the DAP/PKR leaders but their father, mother, grandmother, grandfather, children, babies, grandchildren, uncles, aunties, nieces, cousins, grandcousins and anyone who bears the surnames of the DAP/PKR leaders be exterminated?

Wow, Heng now is the equivalent to some of the cruelest rulers in the Middle Kingdom, like the first empress of China, Lu Zhi.

Heng, as we believe MCA have betrayed all Chinese and you are one of the party’s leaders; how do you feel if we were to call for the same thing - to severely punish you with the “nine familial extermination”?

To put it bluntly, if you are stupid enough not to know the meaning of what you had said: likewise it means that your parents, children and grandchildren and other relatives will be (no, we don’t want to be crude like you) punished. Like it?

Onyourtoes: Heng, first when you put whatever you want to say in the public domain, it is no longer a private conversation, what more when you are a public figure. So don’t try to split hair here.

Second, do you seriously think the Chinese (from China) are that dumb? Do you seriously think they are subject to influence and incitement by Malaysians?

If that is the case, Malaysians and opposition leaders must be very powerful figures. They could incite foreigners to stage street protests and demonstrations at our embassy in foreign capitals.

Criticism in any democracy is a given. If leaders can’t stand it, they should not seek public office. Criticism is not disloyal to Malaysia. On the contrary, it is a manifestation of our concern for Malaysia.

“Nine familial extermination” to me is evil and vindictive to the extreme. You should retire as you are no longer fit to hold public office.

Anonymous_1378093545: Heng, as a leader you are a disgrace to your fellow Malaysians, your political party and to the women you purportedly lead.

I say 'purported' because one who displays such arrogance cannot truly lead. Your remark on “nine familial extermination” shows how uncouth and arrogant you are. Perhaps you are aware of your own limitations and have decided garner cheap publicity.

If you make such a comment on social media, especially as a leader, you must accept the repercussions. If you have any integrity, you would have resigned from your post as MCA Wanita chief with immediate effect.

We do not need another generation of politicians who think that they can get away with anything and have no need to answer to the peace-loving people of this nation.

Louis: Heng, even without the participation of DAP or PKR in Internet discussion, the world’s opinion on the country's handling of MH370 is already very negative. I have not come across any news report praising the country's effort.

And to condemn a whole family to extermination speaks very lowly of you. So far in my life, I only come across very, very wicked crooks cursing others with this disgusting and despicable term.

And, being a former minister, you do not only bring shame to yourself, but to the whole country.

Kickstart: Heng, like many other politicians, is trying to 'cash in' on the MH370 tragedy. The best thing these people can do is to keep respectful silence and hope that it will not happen to them one day.

Almost 300 people lost their lives in the tragedy but many more lost their souls spinning this tragedy without an iota of concern for the relatives of the dead.

Zen: Heng, you should know better. Whilst you are willing to work with other races to maintain racial harmony, others are busy trying to wrest political power and even hinting at amending our constitution.

They are willing to do anything, Machiavellian-style. So don’t be surprised. The public are now very political minded and they have already master how to analyse Malaysian politics, which is full of deception, expediency, hatred, deceit and lies.

Voice: Heng, even for those evil leaders accused of being corrupt, oppressive and considered traitors to the country for the IC (identity cards) giveaway project, we don't even call for punishment of their immediate family, not to mention to be punished under this extremely inhuman ancient ‘nine familial extermination/execution’.

SRMan: Contradictions, retractions, assumptions, U-turns on assumptions, deception, sleeping on the job and so on - this roughly sums up how our country's so-called leaders (mis)handled the tragic MH370 incident hitherto.

If our country has been discredited, then it's all mainly self-inflicted. The leaders should take responsibility for the shameful fiasco. Don’t point your gun at others.
