Amid MH370 crisis, out pops the Omega watch

YOURSAY ‘The obvious fact is Zul trying to score political points with Najib.’

'Focus on missing Omega watch, not plane'

FellowMalaysian: When the focus of the whole nation is on the missing MH370 which had seemingly disappeared into thin air a month ago, Perkasa vice-president Zulkifli Noordin is trying to divert attention from the tragedy by picking a bone with Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.

It looks like an Omega watch is more important to him than the lives of 239 people and where the credibility of the entire nation is at stake.

His grudges with Anwar must be so intense that he could compare a miserable watch with the missing plane. If Omega watches gives Zulkifli such a thrill, just go to Petaling Street for a faux one.

Quigonbond: Zulkifli, they were investigating the captain because of his link to PKR, and they made an early declaration that the Acars (Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System) and transponders were deliberately switched off - implying a sinister plan rather than any other theory such as fire on board, etc.

If that's not an attempt to twist the facts, I don't know what is - thank goodness, they couldn't get away with it because the world was watching and any attempt by them to single out one possible cause over another would have been met with utter ridicule.

Anyway, the Omega watch chapter fizzled out and is a non-issue. If you want to pick an analogy, better try next time.

Wg321: The ownership of the Omega watch can be easily solved. According to Zulkifli, Shazryl Eskay Abdullah the watch was not only with him, but he has surrendered it to the police.

If the Omega watch really belong to Anwar, the IGP (inspector-general of police) will be only too happy to say so publicly.

If that happened, Anwar is at liberty to file a RM100 million defamation suit against the police, Eskay and his two collaborators, former Malacca chief minister Abdul Rahim Tamby Chik and Perkasa treasurer Shuib Lazim.

It is up to Eskay and the police to prove that the watch actually belong to Anwar and not the other way round. It is already three years and the police did nothing.

Similarly with the alleged sex video which Eskay claimed that Anwar was the alleged jockey. Why no action by the police after three years?

Eskay should pester the police for action. The Omega watch is not missing. It is with the police.

Mushiro: When the whole world is focusing on the MH370, Zul is still interested in Anwar's underwear. Zul should go ahead and prove the Omega watch theory or prove that the pilot related to Anwar is the cause of the missing MH370.

The whole world, not just Anwar or Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, is concerned about the many about-turns by the Malaysian government from day one since MH370's disappearance.

This has made Malaysia a laughing stock. Zul should join the 1Malaysia Bomoh as his assistant.

Samuel Ng: BN tried to link it but saw the vanity of it. Yes, Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah is a PKR member, related to DSAI (Anwar) by marriage and most probably voted against Zulkifli and BN in Shah Alam the last election.

He is just a decent Malaysian who wanted to see a change from a corrupt and incompetent BN government.

If the captain is angry over DSAI conviction and suicidal as some alleged, he would most probably have crashed MH370 into Putrajaya or the Umno building in Kuala Lumpur.

Our radar operators were caught with their pants down. No jets were scrambled as confirmed by the defence minister. Do not insinuate and darken the captain's name.

Ferdtan: Zulkifli, the sex video of Anwar with a sex worker has been apparently confirmed as a fraud. So don’t be a fool to bring that up again.

The police had stopped its investigation a long time ago knowing that it was obviously a set-up by the infamous 'Datuk T' trio, including ex- Malacca CM Rahim Thamby Chik. No charges had been made against Anwar, Umno’s enemy number one.

If there was any iota of evidence that Anwar was involved, with such a video openly aired in public, you can be sure he would be in jail right now, his political career finished.

That would be much easy way to finish him off politically than to get a six-foot Saiful Bukhari Azlan, to come up with a ridiculous claim of being raped/sodomised by an over 60-year-old man with a bad back.

There is also no need to go all the way to get semen sprinkled with Anwar’s DNA. That also they couldn’t do the job well as the sample was contaminated with various DNAs of unknown people that could make up a football team.

PKR MP Johari Abdul, in a video uploaded in YouTube to rebut allegations against Anwar to show the video was a fake, mentioned about the Omega watch. According to him, the police send the watch overseas, believed it was South Korea, for forensic evidence of its owner.

He said it was unnecessary as the information of ownership can be obtained easily if the police were to request them from the manufacturer.

All expensive Omega watch came in registered with serial code inside the watch itself.  It seems that the watch belonged to a Thai nationality, a Muslim convert, Shazryl Eskay, a private masseur for Mahathir.

It amazes us sometimes that once a while these mercenaries like Zulkifli pop up to issue some controversial statements against Anwar.

Is it that by issuing such statements out of the blue that they are fulfilling some sort of quota to achieve KPI set by their political master? Zul, is bonus time coming?

CiViC: Zulkifili has some serious twisted logic in his minds, I can't really decipher what he's trying to say here, other than the obvious fact that he is trying to score some political points with PM Najib Razak.

Kamaapo: Zulkifli too, like his friend, perhaps yearns earnestly to be awarded with an ambassadorship as his political elevation is doomed for time being, at least.
