Umno MP retracts FB remark on Karpal
Magnus: To Langkawi MP Nawawi Ahmad, like your unIslamic Umno compatriot, Zulkifli Noordin, you are an embarrassment to yourself as a human being and as a Muslim, and you are unfit to be a member of the Malaysian Parliament.
May your constituents in Langkawi be ashamed of voting for someone as vile and odious as yourself and may they take note of your unacceptable and shameful behaviour and offer you your just desserts at the ballot box.
It is nothing less than shocking to see the disgusting verminous depths MPs like Nawawi Ahmad and Zulkifli Noordin will plumb to score cheap political points at highly inappropriate times, doubtless as a result of their Umno Ketuanan Melayu-oriented upbringing and supremacist mindset.
They are as Islamic and Muslims as Hitler was Hebrew and a Jew.

Vijay47: One cannot really be surprised or shocked by what persons like Nawawi Ahmad regularly come out with. If it is not Nawawi, it will be Zulkifli Noordin.
After all, years of experience has shown that we cannot expect better from the trash who are Umno leaders. What is most shocking is that garbage rats such as these get to be appointed as heads of national corporate bodies like KTM.

Those Idiots: Low life of this calibre run abound in our ever moral-eroding political arena. First Zulkifli, a "lawyer", now Nawawi, a registered engineer.
I hope these are just some rotten-to-core bad apples in the elite Malays arena. Trying to score political points at this national mourning moment will only reflect the lowest level of moral decency.
Ferdtan: We are not surprised with such views from these leaders whether they are from Umno-BN or Pakatan Rakyat.
Basically human beings are brought up with prejudices brought about by environment and the people we mix. Lately in Malaysia, it has become a disease. All people including ourselves must try hard not be one - a bigoted person.
You get them everywhere, from market place to coffee shops. You can hear many such insensitive comments about each other's races and religions everywhere. We cannot stop such people in private.
Therefore in public when such comments were made, the media and the government - if they want to play a positive role - should stop them by shaming them thoroughly.

Whatshappenning: Hasn't Nawawi heard of trains derailing and crashes and accidents? And how can a learned person like him write such remarks when Karpal's family is mourning. It’s very rude and inhuman of him.

Karpal Singh was a man of honour and integrity. I have great respect for this man who has given his time and energy, even when wheelchair bound, to fight for justice and democracy all these years.
There are no many people like him who are will willing to sacrifice his life for the rakyat. He has been unfairly jailed under ISA, but he did not give up the fight for justice.
I will remember his words , “If I go through that back door now, I will go through back doors all my life.” You are indeed the Tiger of Jelutong. RIP Karpal Singh.
P Dev Anand Pillai: This are the kind of Malay leaders who have been created by years of mind moulding. Gone are the days when we had leaders of calibre.
Karpal may have gone, but his spirit still lives on. As he promised, there will be many more Karpals. We will not be cowed, the fight shall continue.

Malaysians will curse those who have stolen our country's wealth for the own gain. But for Karpal, he fought for his political belief. He did not harm anyone but helped those who seek his legal service.
