Khairuddin, this is the price of Umno politics

YOURSAY ‘Sacked from Umno post today. Sedition charges tomorrow.’

Penang Umno man loses post after 1MDB report

Slumdog : It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out that Penang Umno leader Khairuddin Abu Hassan has been sacked because of his police report against 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

This is standard operating procedure for Umno to those who rock the boat or speak out against the party, government or on any other issue that embarrasses the government.

Anticonmen : Kicked out for not playing along with the game. Benefited from the patronage greed game of 1 billion for me, 1 million for my member and 1 hundred for others.

Ben Hor : Kudos to you, Khairuddin, who is willing to go against the grain and start some real questioning. However your one fatal flaw is you joined a party that really stands for "U Must Not Object".

Survivor : Khairuddin, if you had been a very top leader in the Umno supreme council they could have fixed you up with another sodomy case.

Doc : Sacked from Umno post today. Sedition charges will be filled tomorrow. I am sure some balaclava-clad special police force will be knocking on Khairuddin Abu Hassan’s door soon for ruffling PM Najib Abdul Razak's feathers.

Anonymous #96844426 : You have already been declared a bankrupt. How can you go to Mecca? Cannot leave the country. Mecca cannot afford to go, hutang cannot pay.

David : This is the price of Umno politics, surely you must have also benefited abundantly too during your years in Umno.

Rule no1 in Umno is "you toe the line, nod your head and say yes to whatever the upper echelons in your dumb party says". Otherwise, you will be punished.

Perhaps your expectation of "wealth" is not flowing in as smoothly as before and hence all this drama. There is a Malay saying "dua kali lima, lima kali dua" - you are all the same in Umno, rotten to the core.

Anonymous #01428088 : So now you know how powerful your boss is?

Ipohcrite : I hope Khairuddin's eyes are now wide open enough to see Umno for what it really is - a self-serving party of Umnocrats who don't care two hoots for integrity and the well-being of the rakyat. And now Khairuddin can, hopefully, empathise with the right-thinking rakyat of this country who have been held political hostage by the political might of Umno all these years.

Senior : Now you know. Umno Baru demands blind loyalty right or wrong. Dictatorial, no place for dissenting voices. It remains to be seen whether is for Malays or cronies.

Anonymous_137147888888 : Khairuddin Abu Hassan, start your own political party by pulling in many, many unhappy Umno members. Call it Umno 46.

FellowMalaysian : Khairuddin was nothing more than a disposable recording of his master's instruction. Now that his usefulness has been rudely snipped, Khairuddin should perhaps do the honour of quitting Umno as this would be what his master expected him to do. After all, his master did just that; twice before.

RSOH : You have offended Dear Leader. You're lucky he didn't put you in front of a firing squad.

Antibody : For so long as Umno bigwigs are swimming in cash, very few dare raise any issues which involves the Umno bigwigs. As one Zainal said, "For so long as money is Umno's end game, the rakyat in the street will stay in the street for the rest of their lives. Cakap take serupa bikin.”

Moontime : This is how smart people with some measure of intelligence are purged/flushed from the party.

In the end, only morons, scum and the village idiot will be left in the party. As a result, foot-in-mouth syndrome will be the norm, coupled with decisions only a fool will appreciate.

Over50ABU : I wonder why so many are asking him to jump ship. He is only playing for his own benefit or for someone’s. Do you think he is so concerned like what someone mentioned, if that is so he should have also complained about other corrupt practices in Umno.

Why only 1MDB? The opposition would never want this insincere person, a traitor to the core.

Anonymous #05023297 : There you go. Umno at its best... and nothing else comes close.

Time may be running out for Sirul

Doc : Sirul Azhar Umar has two options.

1) Spill the beans on the Altantuya Shaariibuu who dun-nit caper and seek asylum in Australia. Learn some English and open a nasi lemak shop in Sydney and make good honest money but most importantly live to see the light of day.

2) Keep quiet. Return to Malaysia eventually into the jaws of the judiciary, which will want to hang a noose on his neck at the earliest to knock him off.

Obviously cutting a deal now is impossible for being a squealer.

Simple Malaysian : Doc, there is still the third option which you discounted would happen, ie, cutting a deal with the right people. This is the Bolehland - Land of Endless Possibilities!

I think issues hitting the ordinary folk, e.g., state of the economy, living costs, falling education standards, controversial exposure of our nation's wealth to questionable investments, plight of our poor rakyat etc should be looked into more seriously by both sides of the political divide.

Malaysia is doomed!: Sirul, do the honourable thing, for once. Tell the whole world what really happened and give this beloved country a chance. We are sinking and dying fast by the day, by the hour. Please help us pitiful Malaysians.

Think of your soul and think of your family. You want them to live with your shame? You have to go down then take them the real killers with you.

They have gotten away since 2006 and have had freedom for so bloody long while that woman left behind three kids, a father and a mother. Her blood will curse you and give you no rest till you repent and do the right thing. Tell the world what really happened? Do the right thing man!

Siang Malam : I don't think he will tell all. He is not that smart because if he were smart, he wouldn't have been a hired killer anyway.

The Reaper : Why isn't Azilah Hadri talking? He is also key to this mysterious murder.
