PAS already a write-off, regardless of who wins

YOURSAY 'PAS is too far gone to be anything but a millstone around Pakatan's neck.'

PAS moving to the dark side

Kim Quek: Bridget Welsh, you have made a stunning revelation that PAS leading ulama, who are now fighting fiercely for party positions, are in fact rich men who have been enriched by government contracts and timber concessions.

Worse, the party is now spiritually led by a Umnoputra-like businessman. I wonder whether ordinary members and delegates to the muktamar know what you know of these wayward candidates, who are in truth hypocrites, and whether they are aware that the current leadership has taken the party down the immoral path of Umno.

The delegates now have the enormous burden of sieving the wheat from the chaff through their votes to save the party from falling into such an immoral pit.

Jiminy Qrikert: "...lying, deception, personal and physical attacks, moral decay, Umno culture in PAS, adopting Umno mode of politics, increasing materialism of PAS leaders, nepotism, culture of dodge and denial, incapable of addressing any issues beyond hudud..."

What a brutal commentary. But so, so true. Welsh missed out 'IS lovers'.

So, it looks like even if the so-called moderates win the PAS elections, an impossibility in truth, PAS is too far gone to be anything but a millstone around Pakatan Rakyat's neck.

So, it's best for all if PAS chief Abdul Hadi Awang and his team of mad mullahs win all top posts in PAS. Then, PKR and DAP will have no choice but to kick PAS out.

A clean sweep by the mad mullahs would save Pakatan from being totally rejected by the rakyat.

Prudent: The PAS ulama have already said it loudly and bluntly: hudud above all, even above the opposition forming the federal government.

Therefore, it is not surprising that they have placed hudud above integrity and even above their Islamic principles of justice, morals, etc.

That they have already cheated those who voted for them on the common electoral platform in GE13 had made PAS damaged goods for GE14 and beyond - that ism if they can survive GE14.

Pakatan is better off working with PasMa.

Anonymous_1419577444: I suspect ordinary non-Muslims have moved on and have written off PAS in the next GE. It does not matter now who leads PAS.

Gerakan slams Pandikar for mulling hudud bill

780421056122: Dear Gerakan Youth deputy chief Andy Yong, in a democratic country everything should be allowed to be debated in Parliament.

Now, you are saying resolutions proposed by the opposition cannot be debated. What kind of democracy is this in Gerakan? Shame on you.

Takung: Yong said, “Historically, I don't think there was ever a Private Member’s Bill by any opposition member of parliament that was once accepted or debated in the Dewan Rakyat before."

It doesn't say much about our standard of democracy, does it? Does only the party in power have bills that are good for the nation?

FairMind: If a bill is not constitutional, why waste time to discuss it in Parliament? All discussions would come to nought at the end of the day.

Cocomomo: Gerakan, is it not your partner Umno that has given PAS encouragement to submit this bill? Are you afraid your partner will support the bill?

SusahKes: Something is not right, Yong said. Why don't you ask the Umno assemblypersons who voted in favour of PAS' bill at the Kelantan state assembly?

Vgeorgemy: Yong, something indeed is really wrong in your youth organisation. You are still unable to confront the right-wingers in Umno with facts.

You have taken to the court of law knowing very well that the court is only able to deal with something that has become law.

So what is your strategy in isolating the ultra-right-wingers? Till that happens, the rakyat have every right to feel that your actions are only a sandiwara.

Supercession: Gerakan, you know very well this is all Umno's doing. So why pretend?

Anonymous_40f4: Pandikar "mulling the hudud bill" is all ‘wayang’ by the Umno speaker for the coming PAS elections. Trying to get votes for Hadi but after the PAS elections, Hadi's hudud bill would be thrown into the trash bin.

Well Thats Fantastic With all the bees buzzing angrily about 1MDB, hudud is the smoke they require to distract while they run off with the honey.
