Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak attended the breaking of the fast with about 1,000 Johor Umno members at Saujana, in Johor Bahru tonight.

Najib, who is also Umno president, and his wife, Rosmah Mansor, arrived at the event, held at the official residence of Johor Menteri Besar Mohamed Khaled Nordin, at 7.04pm.

Also present were Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, who is also Umno deputy president, and Umno vice-president Hishammuddin Hussein.

Deputy Transport Minister Abdul Aziz Kaprawi, Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Hamim Samuri, and Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Razali Ibrahim also attended the event.

Earlier, Umno members from 26 Johor Umno divisions took part in 'Tadarus and Khatam Al-Quran' programme organised by Johor Umno Liaison Committee.
