Pasir Gudang Member of Parliament Normala Abdul Samad today lodged a police report over claims on the social media of her alleged involvement in a plot to topple the government.   

The Pasir Gudang Umno Wanita head arrived at the Seri Alam district police headquarters (IPD) in Johor at about 5pm today and finished making the report an hour later.   

Normala told reporters that she was shocked over the allegations including the list of 20 BN leaders including herself who wanted to topple the government, which she said was defamatory.   

"I strongly condemn this wild accusation. It can cause confusion to the people," she said.   

About 300 people were at the Seri Alam IPD compound to show their support for Normala.
