YOURSAY ‘Who doesn’t know that those wanted for 1MDB are being hidden away?’

'SRC's witnesses hidden away by certain powers'

Fat Botox Witch: Thank you, former police special branch deputy director Abdul Hamid Bador, that there are people like you - God fearing, and a real patriot. Malaysian history will always remember you for your daring attitude and your search for the truth. God will help you in exposing the culprits.

Rubystar_4037: Hamid, you are like a bad teaser ad, throwing a small bone here and there, and giving some tiny little crumbs.

You are just like Umno or BN politicians, speaking in riddles, seeing ghosts in every corner and hinting that there are big powers to be, with lots of skeletons in their cupboards.

Who does not know that those wanted are being hidden away, lest for fear they will sing like canaries? So Hamid, you think that by hinting you know a lot, the powers that be, will dish out a lot of money to buy your silence?

If you know them, name them, shame them and finish off your chapter.

Onyourtoes: With due respect to Hamid, but actually I do not need him to tell me that someone has hidden some witnesses abroad. I am not stupid, although the whole nation is becoming so.

Liew Lean Kut: Looking at the people that are heading the government, brother, you may lose your pension or worse, your life. Please be careful of the people near you and the food and drink that you take. There are certain chemicals that cannot be detected in post mortem.

Boiling Mud: It looks like this 1MDB fiasco is spreading like the Black Death plague across continents. The Swiss are beginning to investigate banks involved in the scandal, as are UK and France.

Now it’s New Zealand. The Kiwis might want to be careful, not be dragged into this unsavoury intrigue and be branded as another country that harbours people wanted by the investigative agencies of other countries.

Hamzah Paiman: Ali Baba and the 40 thieves. Aren't we ashamed of ourselves with these exposes and our politicians are keeping quiet and its business as usual for them?

Ranjita Kaur A/P Whitemoon: This guy is waiting for a similar offer like Nur Jazlan... ministerial post, then he will close his mouth.

Senior Citizen: The hidden powers are so obvious and anyone can guess the answer correctly.

Negarawan: Si Hamid, before you can finish your story, and before MACC can finish with their investigations, I am sure the Swiss and US federal authorities would have long concluded their investigations into 1MDB.

So, to you and MACC, please don't waste the rakyat's time. The rakyat is pretty familiar with the inefficiency and incompetency of the local authorities in performing their duties. A job that takes one day, would take you people ten days or more, and there is still no guarantee of a good job.

Anonymous #59082512: Remember PI Bala was at one time asked to leave the country and hide in India concerning that brutal Altantuya murder?

Boeyks: SB, please tell us who those ‘certain powers’ are.

Ex-SB man: Transferred for wanting truth on 1MDB

Negarawan: Najib and Zahid are going around the country on a damage control mission because of the fallout from the massive 1MDB scandal.

For the well-informed rakyat, this is an act of futility, and only inflicts further damage to the standing of Najib because of the obvious twisting of facts.

Indeed, ex-SB deputy director Abdul Hamid has alluded to this dastardly attempt by a "Gang Hang Tuah". This group is allegedly led by a "Si Kitol" and we have a pretty good guess who this might be.

When the Swiss and US federal investigators release their findings on 1MDB, "Gang Hang Tuah" and "Si Kitol" could find themselves turned to political pariahs locally and internationally.

Swipenter: Calling for a press conference and then speaking in vague terms is not much of a revelation. Can you tell us who set the correct floor of Bukit Aman on fire? That could be more useful than speaking a lot as compared without telling a lot.

Apa Ini?: Clearly, this is what Premier NajibAbdul Razak wants when he says they must be loyal and not 'smart' i.e. put their faith in him and his interests above everything else.

Courage, Abdul Hamid and tell it like it is. The truth won't earn you millions from the RM2.6 billion sum but it will earn you respect, honour and a clear conscience.

James_3392: To protect one corrupt leader, Umno has to compromise the integrity of Bank Negara, MACC, police, AG Chambers, PAC. These are pillars of government institutions, does it make sense?

Now some very good Malay civil servants are victimised for trying to protect these institutions. Now, who bastardised the Malay race? Is it so difficult to differentiate right from wrong?

WeLoveDemocracy: I hope that the task force continues its investigation with maximum transparency. I'm sure that people still want updates on the investigation.

Speaking sense: Playing with people's lives and those of their families' just to 'syok sendiri' (self-satisfaction) - what kind of government is this? And the whole cabinet continues to clap for their leader and pat each other on the back.

Kawak: Our beloved IGP said the transfer was normal procedure, while the KSN said the MACC special task force deputy director’s transfer to the PM's Department has nothing to do the 1MDB investigation. I think the right thinking rakyat knows what is going on and whether these public servants are telling the truth.

Rick Teo: All civil servants must know that they do not owe their loyalty blindly to any leader because eventually the truth will prevail and those who lie and twist facts will be brought to book.

Kangkung 1M: "I want to ask Umno leaders whether they realise they are displaying limitless stupidity in their race to save and defend Najib in the ‘RM2.6 billion in his personal account’ issue, when US$650m from Najib's account is said to have been sent abroad .

Hank Marvin: This begs the question: who is the SB serving: Umno-BN or the country?
